If we are serious about our Faith, it seems that we never stop learning how to become joyful people and true Disciples of Christ. Along the way there are many opportunities and ways we can discover more and more about our loving God, our caring Church... and ourselves.
Most Holy Redeemer parish offers a number of opportunities for personal spiritual growth and formal religious education for all of Life's stages. Click on each to see more:
YOUTH PROGRAM: The Parish Religious Education Program - "CCD"
ADULT CONFIRMATION PROGRAM: Especially for adult Catholics who, for one reason or another, may have missed receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.
BAPTIZED ADULTS SEEKING TO BECOME FULLY CATHOLIC: Set up for Christians who have been Baptized but have not received any other Sacraments. This program is our "RCIA" ministry and follows the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (hence, RCIA) to lead the person through the Diocesan formation program over the course of a year or two, depending on individual needs.
NON-BAPTIZED ADULTS SEEKING TO BECOME CATHOLIC: Allows any adult inquiring about our Faith to join the RCIA program at the parish to "covert" to Catholicism and experience more fully Christ's love and forgiveness. The process generally takes two years.
ADULT CONTINUING RELIGIOUS EDUCATION: A number of programs and studies throughout the year including, SCRIPTURE STUDIES, RETREATS, and PARISH MISSIONS in which adults learn more, and share their Faith and understanding of the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. -
