Deacon Bob McGovern

Deacon Bob grew up in Old Bridge Township. He has an associate's degree from Brookdale Community College and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Seton Hall University.  Besides his service in the Church, he was a full-time college professor.

Deacon Bob also graduated from St. Elizabeth's University, Morristown,NJ with a Certificate in, Diaconal Ministry. He was ordained May 5, 1996, by Bishop Edward T. Hughes in St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral, Metuchen. He has been serving at Most Holy Redeemer since, 1996.   HOMILIES
