Ms. Mary Bowsky, Pastoral Council Facilitator
The Most Holy Redeemer Pastoral Council defines its role as follows:
"The Council is a consultative body to the Pastor; making recommendations through prayerful study, reflection and pastoral planning, to strengthen the mission of our Parish as the Body of Christ."
Council meetings occur in the context of prayer and openness to the Holy Spirit so that at all times, the common good will prevail. Of the many things they do, a hallmark is the "Parish Mission Statement." It is our parish "Creed" that we all try to live by; here it is:
PARISH MISSION STATEMENT
The family of Most Holy Redeemer Church is a Roman Catholic community centered on the Eucharist and the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed with many gifts and talents, we celebrate the presence of Christ in the joy of the Holy Spirit, affirming and strengthening each other’s faith through worship, sacraments, and service to our neighbor, all for the glory of God.
We welcome all through faith and Baptism to join us.
